Black Beauty

The story of Black Beauty has always been one of my favourites. I recently came across the horse that played him in the latest movie.

His name was Blindaj Billy and he had his own facebook page. Sadly, he passed in April of this year.

This portrait I made more painterly than some of my others. Just melding the moody sky with his lovely intelligent face.
