Matisse was the first cat portrait I tried, He was fun because I had to find a image that was the same angle but with grey furniture in order to fit with the grey colour palette I had in mind for this portrait.

 

I love his expression which looks like he is about to leap off the couch at any moment--that perfect blend of cat poise and action!
