This particular image was a labour of love and a tribute to my late boxer Broedy. I wanted to create a sort of doggie heaven where he and his buddy, Parker could snooze among the lavender as the sun sets gently behind them. Old dogs enjoying the sunset of their lives.

The challenge was finding a landscape that was the right angle of light to make the highlights look natural and then incorporating them into the scene so it looks like they are really there instead of at their daycare.
